Took my girl to meet Regis!!!

Allie and I always watched Regis & Kelly in my bed together at night. One of Regis' last days he mentioned that he was doing a book signing in LA. Allie asked if we could go. Since we were going to San Diego I talked to Steve and we made it work!! Allie was so excited and I was too!!!

Thanksgiving in SD!

We headed to my Sister and Brother-in-laws! Beach for Thanksgiving, YES PLEASE!! We had a great time, hanging out, shopping, taking Christmas pictures, and celebrating Steve's birthday! On Friday (Steve's birthday, My Mom and Dad took us shopping for Steve's bday gift..NEW shoes!! That night Jill and Josh took us out for drinks at a roof top bar in downtown SD then to an amazing dinner at Searsucker. It was a wonderful treat and great way to spend Steve's bday!

Our cutest boy's eyes

So in 5th grade the school nurse does vision screenings. We go as a family to the eye doctor as well and had been just last January. When T brought his screening home it said his vision was 20/50+!! I didn't give it much credit but called and made him an appt. When we went in I was hit with the HUGEST Mommy guilt. My sweet boy could see perfectly with his right eye, however he could only see the GIANT "E" at the top of the chart!! I was inside dying...at 10 years old, only being able to see that down right scared me. After talking with Dr. Weins he said, eye sight is genetic and totally correctable! He then talked with Treysen about sports because let's be honest that was my little athlete's biggest concern. WE all came to the conclusion that T would wear a contact in his left eye and have glasses on the side as well. T has rolled with this and in my Mommy opinion is so handsome with his glasses!!
