Happy Birthday "Papa Duck"

Our great neighbor Rich walks the kids on our street to school EVERY morning! He looks just like a "Papa Duck" with all his ducklings walking behind him. He's given all the kids nick-names and has special hand shakes when they get to school. His birthday was last week and we were able to celebrate! We got donuts for all the kids and Kami picked up balloons!!! The kids loved that her had to walk to school and back with the balloons!!

Baseball opening day

Once you are place on a "major" team in little league on opening day you help mentor the t-ball kid during their first game. It was so fun to see Treysen work with these little guys on throwing, catching and hitting!!

Baby Trey

My good friend Jessica and her husband Travis welcomed their 5th child and 3rd boy on Feb 29th...LEAP YEAR BABY!! Kinda cool, right! I went down to visit early the next morning. This little one is precious and how does his Mama look so great after just going through labor & delivery?!

Mountain View baseball

Treysen is in 5th grade and can now play school baseball! We love baseball in our family and love nothing more than watching T play!!

Our neighbor Jada is playing softball and I could't resist a picture of the two of them after their games. I can't believe they aren't two playing in the front yard!!
This next picture needs an explanation...They had a rally at school I got their early and saw T & his buddy TK watching the cheerleaders practice...was to cute not to capture the moment!!

Precious Lillianne

My sweet friend Jessica had a sweet baby girl. Her name is Lillianne and she is seriously the most beautiful baby I've ever seen!!! I met my friend Jess when I worked for Omni and she will be a life long friend!

T's actual Birthday!

On T's actual birthday he woke up to his room being decorated with Dodgers balloons and banners...

The cousin's and Aunt Shannon came for donuts..

And the neighbor kids came to the door singing!
And now that we have a "big" kid...he has two baseball practices after school on his birthday...however we ended up going to dinner with some of his new buddies from his little league team!!

Treysen's 11th Birthday

When we asked T what he wanted to do for his birthday he said he wanted to have a basketball tournament. I kept trying to change his mind but that was it. So I made a big bracket, we divided up into teams of 3 and we had Treysen's Birthday Classic! We had a concession stand that served lunch, tons of fun and the Kona Ice truck came to serve the boys shave ice for birthday dessert. The boys had a great time and it was a beautiful day for a basketball tournament and to celebrate our 11 year old boy!!! Treysen you are the sweetest, smartest most caring boy. You are an amazing athlete and a straight A student. We could not be more proud of you!!

Happy 9th Birthday Caleb!

Our oldest nephew turned 9 in January but because of crazy schedules we just had his party a few weeks ago. We went bowling at Fresno State and had so much fun! When the "big" boys were done Allie and Jonah just kept going...
Happy Birthday Caleb Russell! We love you so much and are so proud of the nephew, brother, cousin and friend you are to all!!!

Our little ball player

Anyone who knows Allie, knows she is sweet as pie, a social butterfly, always dancing and always thinking of others. Well that little girl told us she'd like to play basketball this year, and that she did! It was fun for us to watch her run up and down the court, chat it up with the ref and encourage her teammates! She even chose not to go to her friend Lexie's princess birthday party and go to basketball because she was determined to be the "player of the week", thank goodness she got it!!As for playing basketball I'm not so sure it is her "thing" but gosh she had a good time. That's what is all about, right?!

Father/Daughter dance 2012

Allie and Steve went to the Father/Daughter dance! Last year Al wore a cute tunic and jeans but this year she knew what she wanted! She wanted a "fancy" dress, special shoes and a cute headband! Steve brought home flowers for her and they went to his and her favorite place for dinner, PF Changs! They met the Welch's there! Then they had a great time dancing the night away. Allie had a ball with her best buddy Jenna....That ended with Al falling asleep while slow dancing with Daddy!

School awards!

We couldn't be more proud of the kids! Both of them received academic and character awards for the first semester at school!
