"Favorite Things" party!

A few years ago I started doing a favoite things party with some of my girlfriends. It is so much fun thinking about what my favorite thing is each year. This year was the year of beauty & treats!! We had a bag of treat from Trader Joe's that included cookie butter, white chocolate covered peppermint pretzels & peppermint Jo Jo's. A journal to record your kids highs and lows from the day. A Sugar Shack gift card for a dozen cupcakes. A Essie red nail polish with a EOS lip balm. The OPI nail polish color "after dark lincoln park" & a hand lotion. Lastly we had another lip balm from EOS & a starbucks gift card! It was such a fun evening as always. I'm already thinking of my favorite thing for next year.

Treysen's choir program

At the kids school they must so either band or choir starting in 5th grade. Treysen chose choir last year and again this year. They had their holiday program and I have to say they are really good!!

Family pictures 2012

We had our pictures done right before Thanksgiving and the turned our great!! Our good friend owns La Bella Vita Photography and they do an unbelieveable job. I can't believe when I see these pictures because in my mind I don't think the kids are this old!!

Toys for Tots...

Last weekend my Mom came and took each of my kids to buy a toy, then take it to the Toys for Tots toy drive. I am so happy my Mom did this with them!! This time of year its easy for kids to just want, want, want but last weekend they gave back!!

Allie's Christmas program

Allie Elizabeth is our preformer!! She is full of sassy and loves to sing & dance!! She stole the shows as she was singing when she broke out in a little dance!!

Introducing our Elf, Maggie!

When we got home from Allie's christmas program we found this!

The kids sat together while Treysen read the book to us! We named our Elf Maggie! She is very cleaver and Santa is recieving nightly visits from Maggie to report on the kids behavior. The fist night she was flying from our ceiling fan in the morning, then she was on our plant shelf and then in the Barbie car with her arm arounf Justin bieber Barbie!!

Gingerbread houses and great friends!

Prepare for picture overload!! There were so many great pictures from the fun night of gingerbread houses & cookie decorating with friends that I couldn't stop!! The Gordon's, Dyck's and Thomas' came over last weekend to have dinner, decorate cookies and make gingerbread houses! We had so much fun!! The kids played together flawlessly, the adults got to chat and enjoy sometime together. We are so lucky to have good friends that mean so much to our family!!
