Thanksgiving 2010

This year we did Thanksgiving at our house!! It was memorable to say the least. It started in the morning when the boys (Steve, Treysen, Uncle Josh and Papa) went up to the school wiht a bunch of Treysen's buddies and their Dad's to play football.I'm not sure who was more into it the kids or the adults. Then Steve raced home to get the turkey in the oven. 4 hours later, Steve took the bird out of the oven to make sure it was done and the juices were NOT clear and the bird was in fact cool to the touch!!! Yes, our oven broke on Thanksgiving day with the turkey in the oven. Steve was pretty bummed, it was also his birthday on Thanksgiving day so he felt like he couldn't catch a break. We ate all our sides and honey ham that Steve's Mom brought. Then at 8pm the turkey was finally done after cooking it in the Swearengen's oven. Allie was the only one who ate turkey that night!!
